I Forgot

In news that will shock no one who has been reading my blog this past week (so, literally, no one), I completely forgot to come up with a topic for today.

I’m very busy. The next week of my life involves a DMV appointment, a homework assignment I need to finish for a Zoom course, a Zoom event that I need to plan and promote, and a Zoom interview that may be the most important interview of my life. And other day to day life stuff, and probably some stuff I’ve forgotten.

Today my mind has been all over the place and everything has seemed out of order. It’s 10:16, a time by which I’m usually asleep, and I still haven’t completed a handful of daily tasks (such as writing in this blog) that are usually automatic.

Somehow, I’ve still found time today to reflect on when we, as a society, peaked, which is to say August 13, 2019- the day the trailer for Greta Gerwig’s Little Women dropped and made me the happiest I have ever been.

Here it is for your watching enjoyment. Maybe someday soon I’ll have something to actually write about again.
