Is This Cheating?
Remember when I said I would write every day for ninety days?
Isn’t it fun when I make the rules?
My post today is going to be ~minuscule~ because I was (thankfully, gratefully, miraculously) able to get my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine this morning. I know as a 25-year-old healthy woman with no underlying health conditions, it is pretty surprising that I was able to get one, but as a licensed childcare provider in the state of New York, I am part of the phase 1B vaccinations and thankfully was able to get an appointment. While getting an appointment was difficult, once I arrived at the Javits Center the process went very smoothly and was incredibly efficient.
While I am COMPLETELY FINE, I am experiencing vaccine fatigue (which is a very normal side affect) and I actually fell asleep this afternoon, which is very unlike me. My left arm is also incredibly sore (which is also super normal!) but the combo of being extremely fatigued and brain-foggy with my sore arm is making the idea of pulling a blog post out of my brain at 8:42 PM really unpleasant. So I’m not gonna do it!
The good news is I do already know what I am posting about tomorrow (get ready for a new addition to the Late to the Party series!) and hopefully will feel better in the morning. Until then, stay safe and healthy, my imaginary readers!
