Jules has predicted the end of the world. Thanks to a misleading Craigslist ad, Jo has joined him in an underground research lab where they find themselves to be the modern day Adam and Eve- if Adam were gay and Eve hated babies. This is a creation legend like no other. Goldfish, tampons, karate chops and much more await you in boom.
As part of my curriculum at Carnegie Mellon, I was paired with director Ariel Zucker and tasked with collaboratively selecting a play for our senior thesis. After months of reading and pitching plays, we happily decided upon boom, a dark comedy about the end of the world. We had so much fun working on this show, and I had the opportunity to lead creative team field trips, design and execute a lobby display, and facilitate a talkback with the playwright!
